In addition to attacking a pitcher with a baseball bat, José Offerman is known for his less than slick fielding. The Dodgers actually moved Offerman to first base in order to minimize his terrible glove. The result? He led the league in errors by a first baseman.On that note, congrats to frontrunner Louis Fleming of Chicago, with 15 errors at shortstop. Willie Diaz of Burlington follows with 12 errors from short. Third basemen Joaquin Gozales (CHA) and Albert Zurbaran (CSP) join Diaz in a tie for second.
On the flipside, 18 outfielders and 17 infielders have yet to commit an error.
