The American League divisions are basically sewn up. The North and West leaders have 17-game leads. New York and Memphis are eight games back in their respective divisions, but I'm pretty sure that neither of us are playing the quality baseball to make the leap. So, while Cleveland, Boston, Nashville and Kansas City are resting tight for the playoffs, let's look at the six-car pileup that is the wild care race.COLORADO 67-54

NOTES: Colorado swept a three-game series with Memphis last week, setting my dreams of playoff baseball back. Anyhow, the schedule gods are shining their collective light upon Detroit, Milwaukee and Seattle, who have more home games remaining than road games. Of those three squads, only Seattle is sub-.500 at home. Memphis is the only team of the bunch that is below .500 on the road and my boys have more away games than home dates left on the schedule.

My team is dreadful at home. Why couldn't the schedule gods make me play on the road??
