Road Warriors: San Francisco is an impressive 7-0 when its on the road. Only Vancouver's 6-1 mark is close.
Going Streaking with Frank the Tank: Five players have had a hit in each of the first 14 games. Most impressive in the bunch is Heath Gwynn of Nawlins, who is batting .509-6-18 with a 1.600 OPS. Ouch babe. He gets The Onions! first Player of the Week award.
Set 'Em Up, Knock 'Em Down: Jacksonhole's Allen Glynn is 4-0 and rocking a spiffy 29/3 K:BB ratio. He'll get the first Pitcher of the Week award.

Pascual Lopez (MEM): Nerve irritation in his forearm. Yikes. He's done for the year.
Terry Reed (SFE): Wonky shoulder. Should be back after the All-Star break.
IFA Watch
This week's big signing was the unfortunately named Harry Limon. The Dominican centerfielder got $1.7m. His offensive numbers are indeed offensive, but he covers the field well. He has Johnny Damon's arm, but damn he's fast.
Transaction Watch
Feb. 10: Washington promotes Nerio Turner. In 45 AAA at-bats, Nerio had zero home runs. Eek.
Feb. 8: San Antonio declines the Rule V Return of Jose Perez from Chicago (A). A 28-year-old corner outfielder, Perez is now back at AA.
